Before we go downloading WordPress, we need to understand a bit more about having a website online.  You can have a website built today but you will need to find a Web Hosting Service.  A Web Hosting Service is a place you “rent” on the internet for your website.

  1. WordPress is, without a doubt, one of the most robust platforms to use when building your own website. I have used many other platforms throughout the years including blogger, Wix, Weebly, and a few others. None remotely compare to what WordPress can do.

Based off your recommendation, I checked out Wealthy Affiliate. One of the things that stood out to me most, outside of the training it gives you, is what else is included. The fact that hosting is included for two free websites is awesome. That alone is worth the sine up. Thanks for pointing me in that direction.
